Founded in 2016 and located in Anhua County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province—known as the "Hometown of Magnolia Officinalis"—Anhua Jinhou Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of plant extracts. Relying on Anhua's Dao-di Magnolia officinalis resources, which account for 70% of the national output, the company has established a full industrial chain from raw material planting, low-temperature extraction to terminal application. With an annual production capacity of 200 tons of Magnolia officinalis series extracts, it has become a leader in the whole industrial chain development of Magnolia officinalis in the industry.

The company takes Magnolia officinalis series extracts as its core, covering 98% high-purity active monomers such as magnolol, honokiol, and tetrahydromagnolol, as well as multi-specification products such as Magnolia officinalis bark extract and Magnolia officinalis essential oil, which are widely used in cosmetics, pharmaceutical raw materials, health products, and animal health care fields. Meanwhile, it expands product lines such as black pepper extract (piperine, tetrahydropiperine) and coenzyme series (NMN, NR, coenzyme Q10), forming a diversified product layout.

The company has passed the ISO9001 international quality system certification and established a full-process quality control system covering content detection, heavy metal detection, microbial analysis, etc., to ensure the safety and stability of raw materials.

The company has independently developed low-temperature extraction and molecular distillation technologies (Patent Nos.: ZL 2017 10211088.5, ZL 20221 1396183.4), avoiding the use of high-risk solvents, with solvent residue <1ppm and raw material utilization rate increased by 60%.

It owns a 1,300㎡ GMP-standard workshop covering the whole process of extraction, separation, and refining, equipped with detection equipment such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The annual production capacity of Magnolia officinalis series products is 40 tons, supporting customized services for total phenol ratio.

The company has established an expert workstation with the Institute of Bast Fiber Crops of Hunan Agricultural University, jointly carrying out research on active ingredients of Magnolia officinalis and continuously promoting technological upgrading.
